Directly above my first camp site, I am reminded of the inspiration for this journey and that, just like the Monarch butterfly, I too must begin this new chapter of life in my own larvae stage. Though these are not Monarch larvae specifically, these caterpillars will also transform into butterflies or moths, each setting out on their own incredible journey into the great unknowns of life.
