Not much lives out here, but a lot dies out here it seems. Today I made the mistake of not loading up my full 13L of water, trusting my US Forest Service topo map that I would arrive at a specific spring half way on my journey. Well, the spring was non-existent and, there instead was this reminder of better days. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 milliliters.
