Though I encountered many live ones, this was the only time I ever had the nerve to photograph a rattle-snake, rattler still intact. Aggressive, deadly and stealthy, rattle snakes often sun on the same roads and paths I rely on to get from a landing to my next launch and I am terrified of my next encounter.
