As a Canadian, I learned to tolerate fairly low temperatures early on in life. What I've struggled with down here in Arizona are the soaring temperatures of the desert in the south. Now that I've flown north of the great Mogollan Rim escarpment, everything is higher at its base, which means the peaks are even higher too. Here, on top of Mt Elden (3000m) I can finally use my sleeping bag and am loving the morning coffee ritual again and just loving life.
