Fake it 'till you make it, a slogan I'm somewhat embarrassed to say has been my own personal mantra throughout the tough start of this expedition, is again serving me well in these, upper, flat sections of northern AZ. With nowhere to re-launch for at least 60 ot 70 km between tiny mountains, I've got no choice but to fly forward with the faith that flat land produces good lift as well. So far, the faking has been going well. :) How do you feel about flying in the flats?
