The new songs I've learnt carry me through minutes, hours and days of waiting for the weather conditions to continue northward. Though it is often assumed that the hardest part of vol-biv expeditions are the overloaded flying or, at times, traitorous hiking, in deed it is the long waits that end most ambitions and it's no secret that music is what carries me through.
