While Monarca may be a Northbound expedition, one wouldn't assume that from the bank of flying photos, largely involving me facing west. The truth is that the West wind was so strong that I mostly pointed NW or even WNW to stay on course, often cancelling out 25 km/h of west, leaving only 10-15 km/h of northerly progress, most often riding full or half speed bar, except in instances like this, where the turbulence was too great.
