Mount Timpanogos July 4th, 2020

Often referred to as "The Timp" (3,582 m), this badass is the second highest in Utah's magnificent Wasatch range and today, is producing such a compressed area of west wind that I am not able to thermal above the peak without being blown over the back. Ultimately, I'll be forced to top-land on Mt. Mahogany, a sub-peak further West to wait out the night in hopes of lighter winds tomorrow. I could think of worse places to spend the 4th of July. Utah is beautiful.
