Scratching out of Tucson April 29th, 2020

Red Rocks behind me, Tucson at my feet, at only 800 m above seal level, I am beginning to sweat through the layered clothing I had dawned for the 5000 m cloud base. As a Canadian, I can do cold, but I would sooner land in a raging pond of crocodiles over the intoxicating, 40+ degre heat of low-laying Arizona.
