I'm not sure why exactly, maybe it's the potato connection or something, but I've never thought as Idaho as being cool, badass, rad, epic, etc. But of all the states I have visited so far, I gotta say, Idaho feels like a lost goldmine for the taking. Big-ass mountains, easy access, few people and just plain beautiful, if you like mountains and your state keeps catching on fire, you might find paradise in Idaho like I did, pilot or not.
