Though only 100 km North of the Mexican border, it took two flight and three weeks of waiting to reach America's southernmost cross-country highway. As walked under the I-10 to my next potential launch, just 10 km north near the Rincon Wilderness area, I felt as though I was turning the page on the pace and success of the expedition.
