The majesty of the Continental Divide has never escaped me. If I cry tears of joy on one side they flow to the Pacific, should I take a pee on the other, it would drip down the Mississippi and on to the Atlantic. The great divide represents so much more than a water barrier. The idea of a critical line like this reminds me that, while I may at times to rest on the fence, each choice I make has ultimate consequences.
