Kids often chase after me, seeking attention or wanting to play. Because it can get overwhelming, now, I'm trying something different. I'm going to them instead ..just kneeling or sitting, practicing my Chichewa, and shifting the dynamic to something that feels like more of a two-way street.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
