What a joy it has been to watch my brother Mathew rise as a pilot since leaving Malawi last summer. When I was a child, I recall wishing so much for material things to come to me at this time of year ..but also recall the satisfaction they brought feeling so fleeting. This kind of gift, however, feels like the kind I will want to carry forever. <3 B

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
