Malawian children have taught me more than a million self-help books ever could about chasing dreams. Despite certain barriers one might recognize from the outside, within the "Warm Heart of Africa" no challenge feels to big and no small victory goes without a genuine laugh and a smile.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
