Kids are awesome. Here a young man has built a functioning box cart from maize stalks and bottle caps. Under the hood is a giant grasshopper he found on the tree outside his house. At first this brought up emotions to do with the cruel treatment of animals, and insects I suppose, but then I looked around and saw goats, chickens and cows roaming peacefully in the surrounding fields and realized I was no one to judge. <3 B

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
