Never having sewed before, Amai Jo spent two long days switching between breastfeeding her newborn and learning the foot-pedal machine. At the end of her second day, she got it, and just then, the setting sun shone upon her bliss and I was humbled by the beauty of it all.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
