On a more serious note, severe drought and sporadic rains have caused many maize crops to fail this past year. Here lay a few immature ears I found while walking home today. Fortunately, there is a solution to this particular issue ..more on that tomorrow.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
