How could something that does so much good, feel so wrong? Many non-flyable gliders were sent to our School of Dreams project in Malawi. For the past couple years I have been burdened by the idea of them getting into the wrong hands and someone getting hurt. Just recently Mathew and I trained some local women to sew and hired them to make amazing things from these old canopies.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
