"Don't get so close to the tree." I say for the fifth time, beginning to be annoyed by the sounds of my own voice. "DUDE!! ..DONT GET SO CLOSE!! ..THE TREE!!" And so it was that Matthew should learn this important lesson, lucky that it occurred during a ground training session and not while in flight.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
