Being grateful for all that I have is something that has taken me a lifetime to become. In truth, I owe much of this to the beautiful and resourceful children of Malawi. Whereas I recall crying one Christmas because I didn't get the exact brand of skateboard I had asked for, this young boy scoots around, smugly seated on his single, used, Rollerblade, all day long.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
