This means "slowly slowly" in Chichewa and, after reintegrating into the culture here, I am reminded of why I hear it a lot. Things happen slowly here and our team's progress is no exception. Today, Fredrick is nowhere to be found and Alex is running around trying to find a a place to charge his phone. This leaves Matthew carrying 50% of his own body weight in paragliding gear out to our new training field, 4 km away. What was once "Argh!" is now Pangono Pangono.
Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
Thank you for sharing this with me. <3 Ben
