Because of foreign planes in Malawi flying low, looking for minerals, locals think that thermaling paragliders are doing the same. It's hard to convince them otherwise and that's understandable given the west's history of exploration and exploitation. Plus, it doesn't help that we are litteraly flying around in circles, combing the landscape while looking for lift.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
