Today was our last day of ground training. Tomorrow, we fly. And as we make our way back to refuge, Matthew steals a moment to take it all in: The light, the mountains, the bird songs and the incredible hum of transformation as ones dream is about to become reality. Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
