I've made lots of new friends this year and to my enjoyment, instead of calling me "Mzungu" ("White Man") most now cry out "Bennie! Bennie!" It can be a bit much sometimes, but it's a welcome change.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
