Our launch is a beautiful maize field during the rainy season and is happily cleared by the owner and his family for our use during the dry times of year (May through August). His name is Jonas and the contribution the School of Dreams makes to his family in exchange for the land is going a great ways to helping their family cover some of the costs associated with Jonas getting older.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
