Meet Fredrick, Alex and Matthew. The idea is to establish a real paragliding community here in Malawi and, while I had originally hoped to train six to eight new pilots, including women, because none of the other volunteer instructors were able to make it, I have shortened the list to these three young men, each who bring different elements of this beautiful culture to the table. Stay tuned as we tackle the ground training with our sights set skyward. <3 B

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
