Though there are hundreds of areas to fly throughout the Canadian Rockies, Golden's Mt Seven feels like home to many pilots and was the place I got my first taste of real flying over 11 years ago. Arriving here was bitter sweet because while the familiarity brought some comfort I'd been going without, I knew my flight out of here would mean a committed 100+ km Northeast over the Great Divide.
