I had a slew of epiphanies during my 200 km march to Prince George and was feeling pretty damn wise until I met this guy, a 1000+ year-old Western Red Cedar in a protected area not far from Dome Creek. Somehow, my 50-days of "roughing it" outdoors paled in comparison to the millennium of meditation my old friend had undertook and I felt satisfied inside of being put back in my place.
