I don't like to dwell on how many long an expedition is taking to complete. While living entirely outdoors, it is impossible not to take note of the natural world and to begin to be aware of time by use of ancient, natural methods. Because I began my journey on a full moon, and this was my third, I knew on this night that I'd been out for just shy of 56 days!
