Always the slowest kid in my class, 'Start Lines' have never been a welcome part of my life. But as I've grown older, I discovered that not every race needs to be run by more than one participant. After an entire year of dreaming, with 0 km down and 1,200 km to go I was standing at the 'Start Line' of the greatest adventure I'd ever known, while making faces at my greatest competitor of all; myself.
