After 750 km of uninterrupted flight, wildfires began to sweep across British Columbia in record numbers. And though my ultimate goal had been to complete a 1,000 km vol-biv without having to walk, my lack of food left me no choice but to walk the 50 km between Yellowhead Mountain and the Robson Valley to the West.
