10 minutes before walking at 5 AM, Krischa would exit his tent to this delicious reminder of what lay ahead. The Huawi Phone, Flymaster Vario, back up GPS and backup Tracking Device (inReach) were the four things he had to cary on top of his basic PG equipment.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
