Now in the South of Austria, just above the city of Villach, Krischa and I prepare for a 100 km triangular flight and a chance to try tagging the second turn point of the X-Alps race, just south of this region over the Slovenian border.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
