For many reasons, mainly that I'm a bad loser, I chose not to compete in this edition of the X-Alps. Fortunately, another one of us did. I was particularly stuck by this stark image of his one man tent and three flats of Red Bull. :)

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
