The amount of media surrounding the X-Alps is mind boggling. As Krischa's background supporter, I had at first felt jealous of not being in the spotlight until I realized just how many spotlights were being shawn and wondered how much pressure all of this pre-race hype would place on my friends psyche once the start whistle blew.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
