Krischa, nor I, are much into paraglider racing ..but in preparation for the X-Alps, we have been spending a little more energy trying to fly fast. Here we speed downwind on our first of three legs of a 100 km triangle in southern Austria.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
