This year, X-Alps competitors have to get within 5 km of the iconic Matterhorn summit in Italy before heading south. Though it took me hours to arrive where Krischa landed by car, there was no wiping the smile off of his face! B :)

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
