While I was at first bummed to realize supporting an X-Alps competitor would mean doing a lot less flying than I had at first imagined, I realized it also has it's perks. Here I watch Krischa battle away up mountain passes and into turbulent lee-side conditions from the comfort of my hammock and alpine lake.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
