
Big instability creates boomer thermals but after a few hours clouds can become so big that they can actually begin sucking under their own momentum. In order to stay safe in these marginal conditions, it's a game of getting close but not too close. In this case, I'm riding around the contour of a giant cell in order to get to the other side. <3 B
Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
