After a long flight, Krischa and I use our inReach devices to communicate our whereabouts. I typically land back at the team vehicle while he simulates racing, trying to make as much forward distance as possible. Here I am picking him up in a small Austrian town at 8:30 pm, about two hours after he came back to earth.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
