In areas of converging winds, it can happen that cloudbase in one area will be significantly higher than that of another. Flying right overtop of those low clouds reminds me of the dreams I had as a young boy.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
