Heart Ablaze August 4th, 2016

However short (less than 40 km), my first two cross-country flights ended with spectacular top landings, higher than where I had launched earlier that day. At this point I was not only 2300 m ASL, but also set up for an East launch, as opposed to the West launch I'd just come from, which meant I could take advantage of the morning sun the following day. Little did I know what weather was on the horizon..
