As much as I had never felt more at home in the wilds of the Slocan Valley, I thought that returning here, without the partnership I had left with, would be too hard to even bother. Well, it was hard, AND totally worth it! After four months of tranquility, about 1000 hours of processing through art, and a complete change of seasons, I feel like a butterfly about to escape its cocoon! Flap, flap, flap. Stay tuned. <3 B
Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
Thank you for sharing this with me. <3 Ben
