Over the past couple months I have had the great privilege of returning to my old home in the Slocan Valley of British Columbia. And though it is a beautiful place, its tranquility allows for a full spectrum of inner thought and, in my case, brought up several insecurities I didn't realize were there.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
