Jack Attack has asked that we celebrate his birth week, not only day ..so here he is, living his life long dream while returning from the Banff Mountain Film Festival one year. Born in Mexico, Jack had long awaited importation to Canada with dreams of fluffy white hillsides and towns in between. Ironically, he was sold in the Greater Vancouver Area, the only part of Canada where it is not uncommon to see snow but in the distance. For 18 years he yearned for a colder life, where he would wear special, high traction shoes six months out of the year, and in November of 2010, his dream came true.

Vol-Bivouac - Across the Bugaboos
Only in my wildest dreams ..a Vol-Biv (fly camp) connecting the mighty Slocan and Columbia Valleys.
Inspired by many great adventurers, pushing the boundaries of this niche sport, this was my first time going at it solo and I am still ecstatically grateful at the result.
