Originally named the "Fixed Link", this 14 km span, between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, is the world's longest bridge over ice covered waters. This was the one and only piece of road we were not allowed to ride on during our Cross-Canada skateboard trip several years earlier. No longer bound to the politics of gravity, I took immense pleasure in flying her length and waving at the toll-guards below. :)
Dangling high above her, I find shapes, patterns and colours only to realize that I am in the presence of a far greater artist than I will ever be, Mother Earth.
May we continue to care for her together.
More than just people standing in a pattern, Human Formations are a visual representation of both community and communication and the magic of what is possible when we align our focus towards a common goal.
These images, mostly taken at summer camps, are sold in order to fundraise to send children from low income homes to outdoors camps as well.
