
While famous for their potatoes, the spud state is also a top producer of barley, wheat, and the whole places is just gosh darn beautiful.
Like Arizona and Idaho, there are plenty of bald south and west faces here to hike up and fly away. But truly it's the vast farmland that makes this place so flyable for me -- conditions often so stable and or windy that I'm seldom clear if I'll fly 10 km or 100 before needing to find a place to land.
