Now four solid months into the expedition, I've reached Montana, the fourth and final state I have to cross to arrive in Canada. As approach the autumn season, the days grow shorter and, now with 3+ hours less sun than when I set out, I'm choosing to carry a second solar panel to make sure I've got enough juice to carry on.
