When I look back on Carlos, I recall how easily frustrated I would get with him, entirely due to the fact that I couldn't stand to watch someone so smart, and with such great ideas, not follow through. What I realize now, after much time has passed, is that I am so grateful for him being exactly who he is and not trying to be something that he is not. Completely comfortable in his own skin, Carlos does Carlos better than anyone else ever could and I love him for it.
